I think it's important to be upfront about what this is. It is not a foodie destination, nor is it anything to go out of your way for. It's a little rinky dink deli/café right near a bunch of offices where people can easily swing by for lunch on a work day. If you are looking for anything beyond that, keep on looking. I heard mixed things about Dolfield. I have one co-worker who ordered a chicken Caesar wrap and promptly threw it out after taking one bite. Today another co-worker raved about the chicken Caesar salad and convinced me to order one for lunch. Honestly, curiosity got the better of me. So who was right? Well, they both were. The chicken was okay, and there was quite a lot of it for a lunch portion (that was wrapped in aluminum foil to keep it warm when it was delivered). It was slightly charred and seasoned, and the pieces were tender. Otherwise, the rest of the salad fell flat to me. The lettuce was fresh, but it was really uneventful... just a big container of iceberg and romaine lettuce with a little tiny bit of shredded Parmesan. They packaged the Caesar dressing separately (note: it's not creamy Caesar) and it was really underwhelming. It actually didn't taste so much like Caesar to me and tasted more like a slightly seasoned olive oil. While eating the salad I wouldn't say that it felt like I was eating a salad with dressing but more like I was eating a salad that was oily. I'd prefer dressing from the bottle. Also we ordered right at lunch time for delivery and it took a solid 45 minutes to get out food. But we are located, like, half a mile away. Considering we all got salads and the container itself consisted solely of lettuce I'm not sure what the hold up was...

Good quick food near work. Nothing here to blow your mind, but prices are good and they deliver too. Try the New York Joe sandwich.

Haven't tried any food yet, but the coffee is mediocre at best. To be so close to the Metro, you would think they would step their breakfast game up.

I love the breakfast at this deli. Chris is so funny and nice. They always have your order ready quickly and they deliver too.

None of the food is going to change your world, but it's a quick sandwich for lunch place. The service is pretty good, the food is tasty if not particularly healthy or original, and the prices are good-- particularly for specials.

Ok for what it is--deli near the office to grab a cheap sandwich and soda for lunch. Turkey Reuben is pretty good.

it's just... not good. all the food is straight sysco bought garbage... the sandwich meat is suspect, all the sides are lousy (and ive had them all), the bread tastes like it came from a soup kitchen, the tuna salad is worse than simply draining a can and adding mayo (dont ask how, but it is), the salads are small and the produce isnt ever fresh. the ONLY thing this place has going for it is its omelets, and even those arent very good (the potates are terrible) and the toast is, well, made from the same bread as the sandwiches.
